"Way more useful than I expected"
I signed up for one Laravel thing and ended up sticking around. The lessons go deeper than quick tips, which I liked. Had to rewind a few parts, but no big deal. Solid if you want to actually get Laravel.

"Pretty good for starting out"
For a beginner, it was good, I think. I got started without much stress, which was nice, and most of it easy enough was to follow.

"Really clean videos and easy to watch"
I’ve been using Laracasts on and off for years, and... the videos are just really pleasant to watch. The audio is clear, the screen is sharp, and Jeffrey explains things in a way that feels natural without being overly polished or forced. The code is easy to read, the pacing isn’t too fast, and the overall quality has stayed really solid.

"The learning paths feel a bit all over the place"
I had a hard time figuring out where I was supposed to start. Like, the information is there, but it didn’t feel organized in a way that made the next step obvious. I kept clicking around trying to understand what was beginner-friendly, what came next, and whether I was accidentally skipping something important. It’s not that the content is bad, it just feels a little messy and could really use a clearer path or some kind of guide that says, “Start here, then do this.”

"Helpful lessons, though I hit pause now and then"
Laracasts does a really good job of breaking things down, and the examples make it much easier to see how everything actually works. Every once in a while I find myself backing up a bit to catch something, but that’s not exactly a bad problem to have. Overall, I’m able to follow along and come away feeling like the topic finally makes sense.

"Simple billing and easy to cancel"
I signed up for Laracasts for a month, and the whole billing thing was straightforward. When I decided to cancel, it was easy too, no weird hidden steps or surprise charges or anything like that. i wish more sites handled this stuff this simply. Overall, it was a good experience.

"I’ve found the advanced lessons super useful..."
I’ve found the advanced lessons super useful, especially when I’m trying to get into the deeper Laravel stuff. The only thing is, yeah, I do wish a few sections were updated a little faster. But overall, it’s been a really solid resource.

"I really like the videos on laracasts and..."
I really like the videos on laracasts and I’ve learned a lot from them, but using it on my phone is annoying. The player feels a bit clunky, and sometimes it just doesn’t remember where I stopped watching, which gets old fast. Casting to my TV can be hit or miss too. On desktop it works fine for me, but I usually watch on my iPad or phone, so the Mobile experience kind of takes away from it

"I found the exercises kind of..."
I found the exercises kind of confusing. Some of the wording felt misleading, like it was asking for one thing but expecting something slightly different. The examples didn’t help much either because they felt a bit outdated, so I had to reread things a few times just to figure out what was actually being asked.

"I had a small issue with my account..."
I had a small issue with my account and reached out to support. To be fair, they got back to me really quickly and fixed it without making things difficult. I’m glad it was handled fast, but I was expecting at least a quick apology for the trouble

"You can just tell it’s useful when you follow along"
I’ve had a good experience with Laracasts, mostly because the lessons usually feel like you’re actually building something instead of just listening to theory. My gut feeling early on was that this was going to help me learn Laravel faster, and it did. The project-based courses made things click because I could see how all the pieces fit together in a real app. Some of the older videos definitely feel a little dated, but they’re still helpful. Overall, I’d say it’s been worth it for me.

"My first impression of Laracasts was actually pretty..."
My first impression of Laracasts was actually positive. I found a couple of lessons that were clear and easy to follow, and it seemed like it was going to be a really solid place to learn. After spending more time with it though, the quality started to feel kind of inconsistent. Some videos explain things well, while others move too quickly or skip right over the part I was hoping would be broken down.

I also ran into a few courses that felt a little outdated, and some of the examples didn’t line up that well with the kind of stuff I’d actually use in a real project. It’s definitely not a bad platform, and there is good content there, but for me the unevenness became frustrating enough that I didn’t feel like keeping it long term.

"The free lessons made Laravel easier"
I tried the free Laravel lessons and they really helped me understand things better. Since the explanations were simple, I could follow along more easily and actually start learning without feeling stuck...

"Good lessons and mostly clear audio"
I’ve been using laracasts for a while and I really like the lessons. The audio are usually easy to hear, which makes it simple to follow along. A few of the older videos sounds a little low or uneven, so I do have to adjust the volume here and there. It’s not a huge deal though, overall it’s still a really good experience

"The lessons actually stay current"
I was surprised by how helpful this was, especially when Laravel versions change and old tutorials start getting confusing. The lessons felt up to date, which is a big deal for me. I still don’t put much faith in customer service if something goes wrong, but the actual content has been solid so far.

"Pretty quick help most of the time"
I’ve usually had a good experience with the forums. Most of the time someone gets back to me fast, though every now and then it takes a little longer. that seems fair enough since people are taking time out of their day to help, so I can’t really complain

"Pretty easy to use, though I wish search was better"
I’ve been using the site for lessons, and overall I like it because it feels simple and not overly cluttered. Personally, I’m a big fan of anything that lets me jump in quickly without a bunch of extra steps, so that’s a plus for me. Most of the lessons are easy enough to find, but the search could definitely be improved. A few times I had to dig around more than I expected, which was a little annoying.

"Wish I’d started using it sooner"
I’ve been using Laracasts whenever I hit a wall with Laravel or Vue at work, i kind of regret not leaning on it earlier. The lessons are quick enough that I can watch one, understand the approach, and usually apply the idea to my own project without losing half a day.

What makes it actually useful is that the examples feel like real things you’d build, not just abstract theory. Even some of the older videos have saved me time. For me, it’s been well worth it.

"Worth the monthly price"
Laracasts is totally worth it. I jump on there whenever I’m stuck or trying to learn something new, because I don’t have the patience to dig through random outdated answers for an hour. For the amount of content you get, the monthly price feels cheap

"Every time I check back, there seems to..."
Every time I check back, there seems to be a fresh course or something new to learn. I’ll go in planning to look for one quick thing, then somehow end up browsing around for way longer than I meant to, kind of like when you open the fridge even though you’re not hungry. Anyway, I like that it never feels stale.
